- Step 1 -
Upon booking your appointment, you will receive an extensive questionnaire to fill in, asking you various questions about your current and past health, your family history, current medications, symptoms, diet and lifestyle.
This questionnaire is essential for me to draw a better picture of your health and will help identify the areas that need the most support.
You will also be asked to fill in a food diary for three days so I can evaluate your nutrient intake and advise you on healthy alternatives and foods to include in your diet.
- Step 2 -
Your initial consultation will last 1 hour. We will discuss the questionnaire and your health goals and challenges.
Because I believe knowledge is key and I want you to to feel empowered, I will also explain why you might be experiencing some of your symptoms and how your diet and lifestyle can hav impact them.
The consultation will end with a few action points and I will then send a more detailed plan within 3 days of the consultation, which will include:
A summary of your main symptoms and the possible drivers behind it.
A plan with food and lifestyle recommendations, with an explanation of the reasoning behind each of them.
Some handouts to explain specific topics and/or a few recipes for you to try.
Dietary supplements (where necessary)
If required: recommendation of functional testing, referrals to your GP or other practitioners (acupuncturist, reflexologist...)
- Step 3 -
ongoing support + testing
I believe that a good support system is essential to facilitate change. I am always available via email for any questions that you may have.
If you require more support, you can also book a package which includes regular 15-min phone calls in between consultations.
During your initial consultation, we might decide together to do some further testing with private laboratories, in order to get a better picture of how specific organs/systems are functioning.
Test results will be discussed during the follow-up consultations (see step 4).
- Step 4 -
Ideally, your first follow-up consultation should take place 6 to 8 weeks after our initial appointment. That way, you will have had enough time to implement the recommendations I would have suggested.
After that, you are free to book as many follow-ups and as often as you want!
Follow-ups are the perfect time to review your progress, discuss your achievements and re-evaluate your goals.
After each follow-up, you will receive a reviewed plan that will include new/amended food and lifestyle recommendations, as well as an interpretation of any test results.
